Western Meals on Wheels

Every weekday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., Meals on Wheels provides meals to those in need including seniors, caregivers, individuals with chronic or acute medical conditions individuals recovering from surgery, illness or injury. In addition to providing a hot meal, volunteers also offer the comfort of a friendly visit and the reassurance of an informal check on the safety and well-being of meal recipients. Western Meals on Wheels are prepared by Mava Foods and offer regular or minced, red meat or non-red meat options and include soup and dessert.

Chinese Meals on Wheels

Chinese Meals on Wheels are prepared by S.U.C.C.E.S.S. at the Simon K.Y. Lee Seniors Care Home in Vancouver and the Austin Harris Residence in Richmond; meals include either fish, pork, chicken or tofu, Chinese tonic soup, steamed rice, and do not contain MSG.
